September Shred: Day 4

I think I hit a turning point. Here's why:
  • My muscles didn't scream in agony as I dragged myself out of bed this morning.
  • I even try to stop or pause for a few seconds during the workout (except when I paused the entire DVD after the warm-up for a potty break).
  • I don't feel my body jiggle as much during the jumping jacks
  • I was trying to think up fun names (like the Double Crappy Lawnmower) for the exercises instead thinking about how annoying Jillian is.

  1. I'm dreading turning that thing on this afternoon. My muscles aren't screaming like yesterday but walking down the 2 flights of stairs at work makes me feel like I'm wearing someone else's legs.

I find myself swearing at Jillian during the last set of jumping jacks.

  2. Way to go!
Seems like a lot of people are getting motivated lately and working out. I think I need to jump on the bandwagon. However, I'm having a hard time getting motivated.

  7. I had to turn off Jillian's instructions because I was starting to hear her in my head (like a song I can't get out my head)!

Sounds like you're doing great! Keep it up!

  8. You are doing great. The pool I exercise at is closed for a whole week. I'm going to have to exercise on land (does playing wii fit with my kids count?)

  9. "The Double Crappy Lawnmower" Ha! I love it -- much better than the actual names of the exercises which I can never remember.

I'm a fellow Shredder...although I admit I've sort of fallen off the bandwagon lately :) You're inspiring me to hop back on! :)
