Aspiring Photographer: A Colorado October

The weatherman predicted it right for once. We woke up to snow Saturday morning. Check out my Autumn Blaze Maple with snow on it.

You might think it is a little early for snow; I know I do. Other than the red leaves, this picture could have been taken in January. I'm just glad that hubby got the sprinklers blown out on Friday night, since the news reported that lots of people were experiencing broken water pipes.

  4. -->OH MY! We don't get snow that often at the beach but they cancel school if it's even in the forecast. I won't complain about the 70s we're having this week.

  7. That is a great photo!!

And I must admit, I don't miss winter, always had one growing up. But living in Southern California does have some benefits.
